Properties of extended ideal based zero divisor graph of a commutative ring

This paper deals with some results concerning the notion of extended ideal based zero divisor graph $overline Gamma_I(R)$ for an ideal $I$ of a commutative ring $R$ and characterize its bipartite graph. Also, we study the properties of an annihilator of $overline Gamma_I(R)$.

THE ZERO-DIVISOR GRAPH OF A MODULE

Let R be a commutative ring with identity and M an R-module. In this paper, we associate a graph to M, sayΓ(RM), such that when M=R, Γ(RM) coincide with the zero-divisor graph of R. Many well-known results by D.F. Anderson and P.S. Livingston have been generalized for Γ(RM). We Will show that Γ(RM) is connected withdiam Γ(RM)≤ 3 and if Γ(RM) contains a cycle, then Γ(RM)≤4. We will also show tha...

An Ideal-based Zero-divisor Graph of a Commutative Semiring

There is a natural graph associated to the zero-divisors of a commutative semiring with non-zero identity. In this article we essentially study zero-divisor graphs with respect to primal and non-primal ideals of a commutative semiring R and investigate the interplay between the semiring-theoretic properties of R and the graph-theoretic properties of ΓI(R) for some ideal I of R. We also show tha...

Zero-Divisor Graph of an Ideal of a Near-Ring

Let N be a near-ring. In this paper, we associate a graph corresponding to the 3-prime radical I of N , denoted by ΓI(N). Further we obtain certain topological properties of Spec(N), the spectrum of 3-prime ideals of N and graph theoretic properties of ΓI(N). Using these properties, we discuss dominating sets and connected dominating sets of ΓI(N).

Zero-Divisor Graph with Respect to an Ideal*

Let R be a commutative ring with nonzero identity and let I be an ideal of R. The zero-divisor graph of R with respect to I, denoted by ΓI(R), is the graph whose vertices are the set {x ∈ R \ I| xy ∈ I for some y ∈ R \ I} with distinct vertices x and y adjacent if and only if xy ∈ I. In the case I = 0, Γ0(R), denoted by Γ(R), is the zero-divisor graph which has well known results in the literat...
